Aux Battles is a free multiplayer game built around real Spotify tracks: everyone answers a prompt with a song from their library, the room plays each pick back, and votes decide the winner. It works with YouTube and SoundCloud too, so friends without Premium can still play.
Unlike a Spotify quiz or a Wrapped-style stats page, this uses your library as game pieces rather than as trivia. What you listen to is the thing being judged.

Pick your sources in the lobby
The host chooses which services a room accepts — Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, or any mix. Mixed rooms are usually right, because assuming everyone has Premium is how you lose two players before round one.
Submit by pasting a link
Copy a track link out of Spotify and paste it in. There is no library sync and no permission grant — you are just sending a link to a song.
Know the Premium rule
Playing a full Spotify track needs Spotify Premium, because that is Spotify's restriction, not ours. YouTube and SoundCloud play in the browser with no account. Anyone can listen and vote regardless.
Have the Spotify app installed
Spotify tracks open through the app on the device playing them, so it needs to be installed on whichever device is running the audio.
What makes a Spotify library good for this
The people who win these games are rarely the ones with the most obscure libraries. They are the ones whose libraries are broad — someone with 400 hours of one genre has nothing for two thirds of the prompts.
Playlists organised by mood rather than by genre help a lot. When a prompt lands you want to be scanning a "3am" playlist, not scrolling a 2,000-track liked-songs list under a two-minute timer.
Worth knowing: your most-played artists are the ones everyone else will also reach for. Rounds are usually won from the second or third tier of your library, not the top.

The phrase covers a few different things, so to be clear about what this is and is not. Song-guessing games play a clip and ask you to name it — that tests recall. Wrapped-style tools generate stats about your listening. Blend and collaborative playlists merge libraries but have no game layer.
This is a taste competition. Nothing is guessed and no stats are generated; you are picking tracks to answer prompts and being judged on the choice. It has more in common with a pub argument than a quiz.
If you specifically want the guessing format, that is a different genre of game and there are good ones. This will not scratch that itch.
Playing without Premium
A room set to YouTube or SoundCloud needs no accounts at all — tracks play in an embedded player in the page.
In practice most groups run mixed rooms: Premium users submit from Spotify, everyone else from YouTube, and the game does not care which. Nobody sits out.
