Aux Battle Wheel
Spin the wheel, get a random aux battle prompt, and play the round. Loaded with 2,995 real prompts across 15 categories — pick the genres you want, set how many slices, or type your own prompts straight onto the wheel. Want the full game with secret submissions and voting? Start an aux battle.
1. Pick your categories
The wheel starts with everything on it. Switch categories off to build a genre wheel, a decade wheel, or a hard-mode-only wheel.
Up to 100 prompts. Narrow selections may not have that many, so you'll get as many as exist.
2. Prompts
One prompt per line. Editing this list updates the wheel instantly — add your own or delete the ones you don't like.
12 prompts on the wheel.
Why spin instead of choosing?
Because whoever picks the prompt has already thought of their answer. That is the oldest problem in aux battles — the person choosing the category has a song in mind before anyone else has read it, and they win more rounds than they should.
A wheel removes that. Nobody knows the prompt until it lands, so everyone starts thinking at the same moment. It also breaks the habit of a group defaulting to the same three comfortable categories every time.
If you want the whole game handled — secret submissions, blind voting, scoring across rounds — start a room instead and it deals the prompts automatically.
Aux battle prompt generator
The wheel above is the generator. Pick the categories you want, set how many prompts to draw, and hit generate — it pulls a fresh random set from 2,995 prompts every time. If you only want a list to read out, generate one and ignore the spinner; the prompt box is the list.
It also works as a party mode on its own: one phone, passed around the table, no room and no logins. Spin, play the prompt out loud, argue about the winner, spin again. Everything you generate stays in the browser, so closing the tab does not lose your list.
Custom prompts are first-class — the box takes anything you type, and a line repeated twice takes up two slices, which is the easy way to weight the categories your group actually likes.
Genre and category wheels
Every category is its own wheel. Switch to one above to spin only those prompts, or browse the full list first.

Aux battle wheel FAQ
What is an aux battle wheel?
It is a spinner loaded with aux battle prompts. Instead of someone picking the category for the round — and quietly picking one they already have a song for — you spin, and whatever the wheel lands on is what everyone has to answer.
Is this aux battle prompt generator free?
Yes. The wheel and the generator are the same free tool: pick your categories, generate a wheel of prompts, and spin. No account, no login, nothing to install, and all 2,995 prompts are available from the start.
Can I add my own prompts to the wheel?
Yes. The prompt list next to the wheel is editable — one prompt per line. Type your own, delete the ones you do not like, or paste a list in wholesale, and the wheel updates as you edit. Repeating a line twice gives it double the odds.
How many prompts can the wheel hold?
Up to 100 at once. Set the number before you generate, or keep adding lines to the prompt list by hand. Labels shrink as the wheel fills up, and the prompt it lands on is always shown in full underneath.
Does it work for aux wars too?
Aux wars and aux battles are the same game under two names, so yes — the same wheel, the same prompts. Spin for a category, everyone submits a song, then vote.
Do I need the wheel to play, or can the game deal prompts itself?
The wheel is for playing off one phone, passed around the table. If you start a room instead, prompts are dealt automatically and the game also handles secret submissions, blind voting and scoring across rounds.
